What is real patidar?

Real Patidar is a movement by the ordinary people of Shri Akhil Bharatiya Kachchh Kadva Patidar Samaj (ABKKPS) for enlightening the fellow members on the issues relating to the religion and history of their Community (Gnati) and Society (Samaj).

The main aim of this movement is to place the true facts of Shia Islam sect called Pirana Satpanth, which is also known as Imamshahi Sect. This sect was founded by an Ismaili Pir called Imam Shah Bawa or Imam Shah Maharaj, who came from Iran, with the sole aim of converting local Hindus to Muslims. His shrine is located at Pirana, near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Overwhelmingly large majority of the followers of this sect are from Kachchh Kadva Patidar community. Many people from this community are practicing Satpanth religion under the belief that it is a true and pure form Hindu religion, which actually it is not. They are not aware of the Islamic roots of Satpanth. These people are mainly misguided by the outwardly look and appearance of the religion.

Thus to clear the confusion and bring out the true facts, this movement was started with the sole aim of enlightening the ignorant class of people, who are blindly following Satpanth, under the impression that it is a true form Hindu religion. This movement has received tremendous success.

This website brings out the true facts of Pirana Satpanth and its influence on the Kachchh Kadva Patidar community. Amongst other very strong sources, it quotes government records and works of reputed and highly respected researchers in this field, in its support.

This website is a must visit for all people (irrespective of their social and religious background) interested in knowing how actually religious conversions happen.

રીયલ પાટીદાર શું છે?

રીયલ પાટીદાર, એક જન આંદોલન છે. શ્રી અખિલ ભારતીય કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદાર સમાજ (અ.ભા.ક.ક.પા.સમાજ)ના સાધારણ લોકોએ ઉપાડેલું આ આંદોલન છે, જેનો મકસદ લોકોને ધર્મ અંગે જાગરુક કરવાનો છે અને તેની સાથે જોડાયેલા ધાર્મિક મુદ્દાઓ પર પ્રકાશ પડવાનું છે.

શિયા મુસલમાનોનું એક પંથ, જેનું નામ છે પીરાણા સતપંથ અથવા ઈમામશાહી પંથ છે, તેના પર સાચી માહિતી લોકો સુધી પોહોંચાડવી એ આ આંદોલનનું મુખ્ય મકસદ છે. આ પંથને (સતપંથને) ઈરાનથી આવેલ એક ઈસ્માઈલી પીર, ઈમામ શાહ બાવા ઉર્ફે ઈમામ શાહ મહારાજે સ્થાપેલ છે, જેનો મકસદ સ્થાનિક હિંદુઓને વટલાવી મુસલમાન બનાવવું હતું. આ પીરની દરગાહ અહમદાબાદની બાજુમાં પીરાણા નામના ગામમાં છે.

આ પંથને માનનારા અનુયાયીઓનો, એક બહુ મોટો બહુમત ધરાવતો વર્ગ, કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદાર જ્ઞાતિનો છે. આ જ્ઞાતિના ઘણા લોકો, સતપંથ ધર્મને, એક સાચો હિંદુ ધર્મનો ભાગ છે, તેવી ગલત ફહેમીમાં રહીને, પાળે છે. તેવોને સતપંથ એક ઇસ્લામી ધર્મ છે, તેની કોઈ જાણકારી નથી. આવા લોકો સતપંથના બાહ્ય દેખાવના કારણે ભરમાઈ જાય છે.

આવી ભ્રમણાને દૂર કરી સત્ય હકીકત લોકો સામે મુકવાના હેતુથી આ આંદોલન શુરુ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. નિર્દોષ અને અજાણ લોકો, કે જેઓ સતપંથને હિંદુ ધર્મનો ભાગ છે એવો અંધ વિશ્વાસ રાખીને પાળે છે, તેવા લોકોને જાગૃત કરવાનો હેતુ છે. આ આંદોલનને ખુબ મોટી સફળતા મળી છે.

Mavaal / મવાળ:
“Maval” is a term used for a “Mole” in the Kutch Kadva Patidar community’s Sanatan faction. A person who outwardly presents himself to be following Hindu religion or Sanatan religion, but clandestinely supports Satpanth religion and tries to divide the Hindus on the subject of Satpanth.
“મવાળ” એવા વ્યક્તિને કહેવામાં આવે છે કે જે બાહ્ય રીતે સનાતની તરીકે દેખાવ કરતો હોય, પણ અંદરથી સતપંથ પ્રેમી હોય. સનાતનીઓની સાથે રહીને સતપંથ વિષય પર સનાતાનીઓમાં ભાગલા પાડવાનું કામ કરે છે.
