Chapter 3 named “Bharatma Islamnu Aagaman” of “Bharatiya Sanskruti” book of 12th Standard book issued Gujarat State Government clearly states that Imam Shah of Pirana, belonging to Shia Sect of Islam, attracted “Kunbis” towards Islam.
ગુજરાત રાજ્યના ૧૨માં ધોરણની પુસ્તિકા “ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિ” ના Chapter ૩ “ભારતમાં ઇસ્લામનું આગમન” માં ચોખ્ખું લખેલ છે કે ઈમામ શાહ પીરાણાવાળા, જે મુસ્લિમ શિયા સંપ્રદાયના હતા, તેવોએ કણબીઓને ઇસ્લામ તરફ વાળ્યા.

People who really want to know about Imam Shah’s religion should not ask for more. But people who already know, but do not want to accept in open, for their own vested interest like money and power will never allow others to get the right picture.
જે લોકોને ખરે ખર જાણવું હતું કે ઈમામ શાહનો ધર્મ કયો છે, હવે એવા લોકોએ વધારે માહિતી માટે રાહ ન જોવી જોઈએ. પણ જે લોકો આ બારમાં પૂરી વાત જાણે છે, તે લોકો તેમના અંગત સ્વાર્થ, જેમ કે પૈસા અને તાકાત, માટે કોઈ દિવસ બીજા લોકોને સાચી વાત જાણવા નહિ આપે.
